SUMMARY:

My professional career now spans forty years. First as technician, then
field engineer, teacher, system designer and computer programmer.

I have used C, Pascal, and Assembler to write maintenance utilities,
directory/disk managers, editors, and tools of all kinds under CP/M, UNIX,
MS-DOS and Windows. I have used several dBASE variants to write database
applications.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:

2002 - Present Independent Contractor/Consultant

1999 - 2002 Senior Programmer/Analyst Dominion Dental Services,
Alexandria, VA.

Dominion Dental is a seller of Dental HMO products. It is relatively
successful in its market area (VA, PA, MD, DE) at about $20 Million.
Reporting to the Director Of Finance/Information Systems, I was
responsible for all systems and applications programming. Languages
used are SQL, C, Clipper and Visual FoxPro.

At Dominion I was presented with the task of developing custom reports
for company management and clients on the 'state of the world' as known
to the 'database' on any given day. I developed a system for unloading
the database on our Unix server and building custom .DBF tables on our
NT server as a 'cron' job on Unix and as a Scheduled Task on NT. I write
and maintain all the FoxPro and Clipper programs that report on the .DBF
tables.

At Dominion we used Data Dental from See Beyond (STC). It is Informix
based running under SunOS. We used the DataLoad product for both
Eligibility and Utilization. I wrote and maintained programs to preprocess
input data and create the DSIR files for DataLoad.

1996 - 1999 Self-Employed/Owner of PC Access, Virginia Beach, VA.

PC Access focused primarily on support of small businesses ranging
from contracted periods of full-time on-site support to on-call support
to software design and development to technical consulting, computer
system selection, network selection, installation and maintenance.

We support vertical-market applications for the used car market and
list management for the telemarketing industry. This support consisted
of maintaining and upgrading database applications written in Clipper
(an xBase dialect, superset of dBASE III PLUS). We had several but
not many clients for both applications.

Other activities included designing and implementing data conversion
programs to transfer data among disparate databases. (Clipper and/or C)

We also configured and built PC's for our clients and installed networks
using Windows 95/98/NT and/or LANtastic.

1992 - 1996 Independent Consultant, Virginia Beach, VA.

My computer consulting business in its infancy, and not producing
income, I took part-time employment in Sales to make ends meet and
to give me time to develop contacts in the computer business and in
small business in general. I sold home improvements, satellite television
and finally computers at KIS Computers, a prominent retailer. KIS
proved to be the jumping off point to PC Access.

1979 - 1992 Alpha Systems Corporation, San Jose, CA, President/Owner.

I designed and developed computer peripherals and susbsystems including
hard disk controller, analog and digital data separators, memory extension
subsystems, and real-time clock. I wrote the BIOS and system utilities for
a variety of computers including Ampro Little Board, Micromint SB-180 and
Oneac ON!. I am the author of NZCOM, a popular operating system environment
for CP/M computer systems.

1975 - 1979 International Marketing, Shugart Associates, Sunnyvale, CA,
International Technical Director.

I was the leading support person answering to the Vice President of
Marketing for the company, which was the leading maker of floppy disk drives
and the inventor of the 'mini-floppy' drives. As the leading representative
of the firm, I was expert in all aspects of design, manufacturing, and
application of flexible disk drives and hard disk controllers. I traveled
and serviced Europe and the Far East while based in Frankfurt, Germany before
being transferred to the home office in Sunnyvale.

1971 - 1975 International Trading Corporation (ITC), Monte Carlo,
Monaco, Computer Technical Service Manager.

As manager of the Customer Service Department, I provided technical support
and training to customers on all of the company's products. ITC was the
distributor for US companies such as Redactron, Iomec, Centronics, Raymond
Engineering, Shugart Associates, and MAEL, an Italian computer maker. My
support efforts ranged from the installing software, connecting the computers
to LANs, installing peripherals, running LAN cables, and conducting classes.
While in Monaco, I instructed a wide variety of clients in most European
cities, including Moscow. Through this interaction, I became fluent in
French and German, and was able to pick up some Italian and Russian.

1970 - 1971 Itel Corporation, Palo Alto, CA, Project Manager.

I managed a three-man team responsible for the designing and producing a
16 bit single board minicomputer for the express purpose of reducing the cost
of manufacturing computers. This effort was in direct competition with
computer companies DEC, Data General, and Nixdorf. A technical success.

1966 - 1970 Intercontinental Systems, Inc., Hong Kong, BCC/Monte
Carlo, Monaco, Technical Services Manager.

As Technical Services Manager, I provided technical support and training to
Far Eastern clients of the Dura Business Machines, Mohawk Data Sciences, and
Insel electronic calculators. I supported clients in Japan, Taiwan, Singapore,
Malaysia, and Australia.

1965 - 1966 International Business Systems, San Francisco, CA,
Technical Services Manager.

As Technical Services Manager, I was responsible for the maintenance of Insel
electronic calculators and the Dura word processing systems for clients in
the local area.

1964 - 1965 Friden, Inc., San Francisco, CA, Manager.

I was responsible for the repair site for the "Western Regional Depot
Repair Center" for the Friden EC-130 Electronic Calculator. I conducted
training classes in the fundamentals of electronics and mechanical repairs.

1963 - 1964 Philco Computer Division, Willow Grove, PA, Customer
Engineer.

As Customer Engineer, I was responsible for the maintenance and repair
of the Philco 212/2000 mainframe computer. This equipment included punch
card readers and punches, magnetic tape drives, magnetic drum memories,
magnetic core memories, line printers, and console printers.

1962 - 1963 Philco Tech Rep Western Development Laboratories,
Palo Alto, CA., Instrumentation Engineer,

I was instrumental in establishing the maintenance and calibration of
the PAM Ground Station of a satellite tracking station that pulled data
from the satellite, recorded it on Video Tape, digitized it and then
distributed the data to certain locations over phone lines. I worked with
state-of-the-art equipment, including RF amplifiers, FM detectors, Analog
to Digital converters, Video Tape recorders and a CDC 160A computer.

1957 - 1962 US Air Force Strategic Air Command, Airborne Electronics
Countermeasures Repairman.

While in the US Air Force, I was responsible for the maintenance and
repair of active and passive Electronic Countermeasures equipment on
SAC B-47 and B-52 aircraft. I was a radio repairman on an Air Defense
Command Aircraft Control and Warning (AC&W) site using HF, VHF, and UHF
transmitters and receivers, as well as SAGE control systems.
